The Town of Discovery Bay is governed by a Community Services District (CSD) comprised of five Directors, who advise the County Board of Supervisors. The CSD is responsible for water, sewage, lanscaping, and some parks. The CSD Directors have public meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month, at 7:00 PM, 1800 Willow Lake Road.
