Paul James Morehead, 59, of Discovery Bay, a Veteran, passed unexpectedly on September 7, 2010, at home. He was born on September 26, 1950, in Oakland, CA. Paul was drafted in the army in 1969, served two tours in Vietnam, received The Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious achievement in The Republic of Vietnam and later honorably discharged in 1975. He is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Pauline Morehead. He is survived by two brothers, Robert and Randy Morehead, his spouse, Lorraine Morehead, daughter, Paula Morehead, Step-son, Matthew Morrone, step-daughter, Justina Morrone Staley and three grandchildren, nieces and nephews and god-sons. Memorial service to be held September 12, 2010. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be given for future family needs.

  1. Lorraine our prayers go out to you and your family. Just let us know if there is any thing we can do for you.
    I will also remember how Paul took the time to teach me how to ride a 2 wheel bike. He also loved to draw and he sat and taught me how to draw a person instead of the stick people along with all the fond memories of going to the zoo, American Legion hall, movies, watching him and the other guys playing football on the front lawn at Harder school.
