Great American Campout – Discovery Bay!   June 25-26

  Did you know that across America – cities are holding the Great American Campout?   Now, Discovery Bay is joining in on the fun!  

On May 4th, the Town of Discovery Bay CSD Directos unanimously approved Discovery Bay’s first free Community Campout, to be held at Cornell Park, June 25-26, 2011.

Expect a free BBQ on Saturday night, courtesy of REI, lots of fun games and activities for the whole family (from scavenger hunts to a star gazing tour), and a pancake breakfast Sunday morning!

Don’t have camping equipment?  No problem!  REI will offer free tent, sleeping bag, and bed roll rentals for this event – but you must sign up quickly for these, as supplies are limited.  Reserve yours at REI, in the Streets of Brentwood.
