SKI BEACH CLEAN-UP
Genna Cowles loves Ski Beach and wants to see the people who use it, and love the Delta, take care of it a little better.
On Tuesday, July 19th, Genna has organized a SKI BEACH CLEAN UP, which she hopes all of it’s users will lend a hand with.
This is Genna’s second organized Ski Beach Clean-Up effort. She explains: “Some people are disrespectful and don’t know how to take their garbage home with them… the Beach is full of glass and trash – it isn’t safe to walk around, for adults, children, and animals.”
Cowles asks that volunteers bring rakes, shovels, garbage bags, gloves, etc. Anything that will help. Find your way there anytime on Tuesday, or be part of the group effort from 3 – 6 PM.
Following the clean-up, volunteers should meet at Orwood Resort, who is sponsoring the effort by providing free tacos and recognition at their popular Taco Tuesday night.
