Detectives from the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff have arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a Safeway gas station located on the 14800 block of Highway 4 in Discovery Bay on Sunday, January 8, 2012.
 
The two, who were arrested in Discovery Bay last night, have been booked into county jail in Martinez.
 
35-year-old Dorian Swigart of Discovery Bay was arrested for robbery, burglary, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance. She is being held in lieu of $70,000 bail.
 
21-year-old Christopher Nelson of Discovery Bay was arrested for burglary, conspiracy and embezzlement. He is being held in lieu of $80,000 bail.
 
Detectives believe Swigart conspired to commit the robbery with Nelson, who worked at the gas station and was the victim of the robbery. Swigart used to work at the business.
