NOTICE of Board Vacancy
At the next Regular Meeting, to be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012, the Board of Directors of the Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District (CSD) will consider which procedure to utilize in filling an existing Board vacancy. The Board may either appoint an individual to fill the vacant position, or it may call for a District-wide election. To assist the Board in making the decision on which procedure to use, the Board is asking if there are people who would be interested in being appointed to fill the vacancy. You must be 18 years of age, a registered voter, and live within the District.

Should the Board decide on using the appointment procedure to fill the vacancy, the Board of Directors would select a meeting date more than 15 days after March 7, 2012 when they would make the actual appointment. Public notice of that meeting date will be provided.
