Byron Union School District PTAs honor outstanding service to local school communities

On April 26m, at Discovery Bay’s Boardwalk Grill, school district administration, staff, and student families gathered for the annual Honorary Service Awards given by the district’s PTA organizations.
 
In its 7th year running, this program seeks to recognize individuals, businesses and organizations who have gone above and beyond to serve the local school communities.
 
In addition, the recipient of the annual high school scholarship was recognized by the Discovery Bay PTA. This year, both scholarships went to Trent Hullen, who will be graduating from Liberty High School this June and attending San Diego State University in the fall.
