Byron United Methodist Church and the Excelsior Volunteer Parents of the Arts Club are proud to present From Bach to Broadway, a Musical Affair Saturday, August 18 at 2:00 pm at the Excelsior Middle School Performing Arts Theatre, 14301 Byron Highway in Byron. From Bach’s “Ich will dir mein herze schenken” to Broadway’s “On the Street Where You Live” from My Fair Lady, the audience will be thrilled with the performances by students from the University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music.

Oakley resident Alivia Logan is a senior vocal performance major at the Conservatory. She has been performing on stage since the age of five. Ms. Logan’s most recent performances include “Sweeney Todd” for the Stockton Civic Theatre, and Pacific Opera’s “The Magic Flute.” She will display her talents in both the classical and musical theatre arenas at the concert.
UOP students Yelena Dyachek, Amanda Tonkin, Donovan Ott-Bales, Adam Green, Stefan Miller, and Arturo Rodriguez will also be featured in the concert. Many of these artists hail from EastContraCostaCounty. Piano accompaniment will be provided by Liberty High graduate Christopher Hewitt.
