We are all so blessed to live here and have such an Amazing Community!!!
Discovery Bay….we live where we play! even in the winter!!!
This was my first year participating as a volunteer for the Parade of Lights. I had SUCH a great time. It was truly awesome to see the community sitting out on their front lawns/sidewalks/garages, even in their cars – to watch the parade. I was honored to help hold up the Parade of Lights Banner with the Discovery Bay Chamber of Commerce gals, Chris Middleton and Anita Sparks at both ends. Since I was short, I was in the middle. We followed second in line of the parade behind the police car and behind us was the Grand Marshal Kevin James.
What a beautiful night with light rain. The floats were so amazing, they were New York-ready!
And all the volunteers for this event – did an amazing job. Wow.
