  1. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this parade fabulous-as always!!
A big Yahoo!!! to Excelsior for their float and winning the “Best of Show” award!!!
We are all so blessed to live here and have such an Amazing Community!!!

  2. This was my first year participating as a volunteer for the Parade of Lights. I had SUCH a great time. It was truly awesome to see the community sitting out on their front lawns/sidewalks/garages, even in their cars – to watch the parade. I was honored to help hold up the Parade of Lights Banner with the Discovery Bay Chamber of Commerce gals, Chris Middleton and Anita Sparks at both ends. Since I was short, I was in the middle. We followed second in line of the parade behind the police car and behind us was the Grand Marshal Kevin James.

What a beautiful night with light rain. The floats were so amazing, they were New York-ready!

And all the volunteers for this event – did an amazing job. Wow.
