Town of Discovery Bay Seeks New Director

Town of Discovery Bay CSD Seeking Applicants to serve on the Town’s Board of Directors

Due to the recent resignation of Board President Ray Tetreault, an opening has occurred on the Town of Discovery Bay Board of Directors. An appointment to fill the vacancy will occur at a Special meeting of the Board of Directors to be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., 1800 Willow Lake Road, Discovery Bay.

The Board is accepting letters of interest and statements of qualifications from citizens interested in becoming a member of the Town’s legislative and decision making body.

The person selected to serve on the Board will do so until the first Friday in December 2014 following the November, 2014 General Election. All applicants must be 18 years of age, a registered voter, and must be a resident within the Discovery Bay District boundary. The Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District provides water, wastewater, landscape and recreational services to the more than 14,000 residents of Discovery Bay. The Board of Directors meets the First and Third Wednesday’s of the month at 7:00 p.m.
