Local Roadwork & Closures – Hwy. 4 & Marsh Creek

TWO LOCAL ROAD WORK PROJECTS TO BE LOOKING OUT FOR…

MARSH CREEK ROAD WORK (BY CONTRA COSTA WATER DISTRICT):

Work will take place tonight, October 18th beginning at 7:00p.m. Crews will also be preforming work intermittently weekdays through early November from 9:00a.m until 2:00p.m. Additionally work is scheduled Saturday, October 19th and October 26 from 5:00a.m until 5:00p.m. Motorists can expect up to 30minute delays.

HIGHWAY 4 (STATE ROUTE 4) ROADWORK:

STATE ROUTE 4 FROM OLD RIVER BRIDGE TO TRACY BOULEVARD IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close eastbound and westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) from the Old River Bridge to Tracy Boulevard for bridge work.  Crews will begin work Monday, October 21, 2013, through Friday, October 25, 2013 from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Detour:

SR-4 Westbound:

•           Southbound Tracy Boulevard

•           Westbound Interstate 205

•           Grant Line Road exit

•           Westbound Naglee Road

•           Westbound Grant Line Road

•           Northbound Byron Highway to SR-4

SR-4 Eastbound:

•           Southbound Byron Highway

•           Eastbound Grant Line Road

•           Eastbound Interstate 205

•           Northbound Tracy Boulevard to SR-4

STATE ROUTE 4 FROM BACON ISLAND ROAD TO ROBERTS ISLAND ROAD IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform intermittent one-way traffic control on State Route 4 from Bacon Island Road/ Trapper Road to Roberts Island Road for pavement repair.

Crews will begin work on Monday, October 21, 2013, through Friday, October 25, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Motorists should expect 15 minute delays.  Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
