Following the cancelation of last week’s special event permit meeting, (called by the Contra Costa Environmental Health Services Director for Discovery Bay event organizers), Supervisor Mary Piepho has scheduled a similar meeting at the Discovery Bay Community Center, to be held on Monday, November 4, 2013.

Supervisor Mary Piepho will be hosting the meeting to discuss proper permitting for temporary and special events.

Representatives from the County¹s Department of Conservation and Development, Environmental Health Department, Sheriff¹s Office , Public Works Department and the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District will be on hand to discuss the permit requirements for special and temporary events and answer any questions.

The meeting will be held from 3:00-5:00p.m. at the Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District Community Center located at 1601 Discovery Bay Blvd., Discovery Bay, CA, 94505.
