Halloween is Happening! While Southern California is struggling to take the “Boo” out of Halloween, the candy scavenging on this spooky holiday is still happening around the Delta!  “Stay-in-your-own-neighborhood” trick-or-treating is being encouraged this year, to limit crowds and gathering in typically busy areas. Gated communities plan to have tighter visitor restrictions this year, as well.

The Cypress Landing neighborhood in Discovery Bay has planned a “ghost walk” along it’s streets. From Seal to Sandpoint, and all the Cypress Landing streets in between, Look for milk-jug-ghosts (pictured here) to line the streets and sidewalks In front of each home, making for a well-lit and spooky-fun stroll.  Homes are being judged for the “Best Milk Jug Ghost Display” and for “Best Overall Decorating Theme.“
